Take a weekend to try something about textmate. I should say, it is
More powerful, and fit to user custom, than vim.
Extensive, and of-course fit to RoR
Only on Mac, so i am lucky.

PHP Learning
Because of work, i begin to use PHP, even LAMP. It seem not bad to me, for more understanding about server, efficiency, etc. Just finding everything is not so hard to learn if you decide to learn it. Many groups or people has done distribution for PHP application, many tools or framework be used, Such as PHPunit, PHPdoc, Phing, Zend Framework, PHP on trax, .... we found the rules that one language always like to learn the advantage of another. maybe, that's why so much language exists in the would. But, in the other way, don't learning the disadvantage of others. for example, i found ZF makes everything more complex, something java. Just personal idea.
